You can cut it into layers to make it look good with your face. It will look good on you if you have small face. If the shape of your face is round, shot shag with bangs or fringes is the perfect option for you.
Try to make sure that the bangs nicely blend with your haircut to make it look good. If you want to try the modern take of this shag haircut, you can choose flipped out shag haircut. But you need to have minimum shoulder length hair to try this haircut if you don’t want to make it look like a fairy cut. This haircut looks nice on older women. <
